What We Collect

When you request a quote, we ask for:

• Your name — so we can address you properly
• Your phone number — so we can call or text about your project
• Your email address — so we can send quotes and updates
• Your ZIP code — so we can confirm we serve your area
• Project details — so we can give you an accurate quote

If you become a customer, we may also collect your home address and payment details. We never collect Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other highly sensitive data through our website.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your quote request
• To assign the right handyman to your job
• To follow up about your project and answer questions
• To send you updates only if you've asked for them
• To improve our services based on what customers need

We will never:

• Sell your information to third parties
• Share it with anyone not involved in completing your job
• Use it for advertising unrelated to our services

Who Sees Your Information

Your info is seen by:

• Arlajays staff — the people running the business
• The assigned handyman — only after we've booked your job, and only the details they need to do the work

Your handyman will see your name, phone, address, and job description. They will not see payment details or any other projects you've had with us.

How We Protect Your Information

• Customer data is stored in a secured system accessible only to authorized staff
• We use HTTPS encryption when you submit your information through our website
• All Arlajays staff and handymen follow strict rules about customer privacy
• We use two-factor authentication on our business accounts
• We delete leads that don't become customers after 12 months

How Long We Keep Your Information

• Lead requests (no work done): Deleted after 12 months
• Active customer records: Kept for 7 years for tax and warranty purposes
• Old customer records after 7 years: Anonymized or deleted

Your Rights

You can always:

• Ask us what info we have about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your info (unless we need to keep it for legal reasons)
• Ask us to stop contacting you
• File a complaint with your state's Attorney General office if you believe we've mishandled your data

Our service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we've accidentally collected a child's information, contact us immediately and we'll delete it.
